Review policy
Reviews on 707 Home Pros are written by people who hired a local business. Here’s how they work.
Who can write a review
- Anyone who hired the business themselves, about their own experience.
- One review per job. Tell the truth about what happened.
Who can’t
- A business’s owners, staff and their families can’t review their own business or its competitors.
- That includes us. The owner of 707 Home Pros also runs a local landscaping business in Humboldt County. The owner, staff and family don’t review that business or any competitor.
No paying for reviews
- We never pay or offer anything for a review, good or bad.
- Businesses can’t pay us to add, remove, hide or move reviews.
How we check reviews
- A person checks every review before it shows. We approve it or reject it. We never edit the words.
- The same rules apply to good and bad reviews. We don’t reject a review because it’s negative, or because the business asks us to.
We reject or remove reviews that:
- look fake, are spam, or come from the owner, staff, family or a competitor;
- are about a different business, or not about a job the writer hired them for;
- contain threats, harassment, hate, discrimination, or obscene or sexual content;
- share someone’s personal information, like a phone number or home address;
- are clearly false or misleading, or share private or confidential business information.
What you see
- Only reviews that passed these checks are shown, newest first. The star average counts only those reviews on 707 Home Pros.
- Reviews are the opinions of the people who wrote them, not of 707 Home Pros.
- The “See reviews on Google” link opens Google Maps in a new tab. Those reviews belong to Google and their writers. We don’t copy them here.
Reporting a review
Every review has a “Report this review” link that emails daihanhudson2@gmail.com. We check it again against these same rules and take it down if it breaks them. Businesses can also reply or ask questions at that address.
